The Sturgis Fire Department is located behind the Town Hall at 3851 Highway 12 West. The all-volunteer department consists of 15 firemen, EMS and 6 trucks. The fire chief is Greg Wall, the assistant chief is Buster Nason and Shannon Edwards (pictured) is the training officer.
